DODA, FEB 28: A double-story residential house collapsed in Shankhely Dessa, a remote village around 50 kilometers from the district headquarters of Doda, following heavy rainfall and approximately 3-4 feet of snow. The house belonged to Balkrishan, son of Dina Nath.
As per the initial reports, there has been no loss of human life in the incident. Local residents acted swiftly to rescue the occupants, including animals, ensuring their safety.
The affected family has received immediate support from the community, with locals extending help during this difficult time. Authorities have been informed, and further assistance is expected to be provided.
