JAMMU, MAR 01: The Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu, has announced scheduled power shutdowns in various areas of Jammu due to maintenance and upgradation works.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the power supply to Bishnah, Nandpur, Suhagpur, Ramgarh, Arnia, Miran Sahib, Bari Brahmana, and adjoining areas will remain affected on March 2 from 8 AM to 12 Noon.
Similarly, Nanan, Barnoti, Channi, Paharpur, and adjoining areas will face power cuts on March 3 from 9 AM to 10 AM and 4:30 PM to 5 PM.
Ramgarh Town, Mahal, Rangoor, Barota, Baba Sidh Goria Ji, and adjoining areas will experience a shutdown on March 2 from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Additionally, Jakh, Jogpur, Sarore, Patli Industry, Ware House, PHE, MAM Stadium, Dogra Mohalla, Parade, Bus Stand, Residency Road, RS Pura, Salehar, Biaspur, Miran Sahib, Kullian, Purana Pind, Chatha, Jakh, Bari Brahmana Industrial Area, Vijaypur, Bari Brahmana Town, Hakkal, and surrounding areas will have power outages on March 2 from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua, has informed that Dadwara, Bhaddu, Surara, Phinter, Trahara, and nearby areas will face power cuts on March 2 and 3 from 8 AM to 11 AM.
Industry-I, Kanhal-2, and adjoining areas will be affected on March 2 from 8 AM to 2 PM, while the Old Complex Industry, BB Town, and adjoining areas will have a shutdown on March 2 from 8 AM to 12 Noon.
Similarly, Old Mawa and its adjoining areas will experience power cuts on March 3 and 4 from 8 AM to 12 Noon.
Consumers are advised to make necessary arrangements and plan accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
