SRINAGAR, MAR 16: The scheduled power shutdown for the 33 KV Habak-Zakura-Burzuhama line, which was set to take place on March 17, 2025, has been cancelled.

As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz by the Chief Engineer of Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), the 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zakura and Burzuhama will remain operational as usual. Consequently, areas including Zakura, Batpora, Gulab Bagh, Danihama, Khimber, Chaterhama, Teilbal, Burzuhama, Gassu, Shoperbagh, and Rahbagh will continue to receive power supply as per the regular schedule.
