JAMMU, DEC 24: In a bid to maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure commuter safety, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Tuesday seized seven electric autos in Akhnoor that were causing obstructions and disrupting traffic movement.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the seized vehicles have been booked under the relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The action was part of a broader effort by the police to tackle traffic violations and ensure order on the roads. A senior police official stated that such measures are necessary to address growing traffic challenges and maintain safety for the public.
The police have reiterated their commitment to road safety and urged citizens to comply with traffic regulations. Strict enforcement actions against violators will continue to ensure smooth and safe travel for all commuters in the region.
