Movement Kalki

JAMMU, DEC 09: The “Movement Kalki” protest, advocating for the declaration of the cow as the National Mother Cow and the establishment of a Sanatan Board, completed 50 days of peaceful demonstration at Ambphala Chowk, Jammu on Monday. The movement aims to address issues such as cow protection, prevention of cow trafficking and slaughter, and safeguarding Sanatan culture.

As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, protestors expressed their disappointment over the lack of response from both central and state governments despite their sustained efforts. Alleging governmental neglect, they criticized the authorities for sidelining crucial issues related to Sanatan Dharma and the sanctity of cows. Their primary demands include national recognition of the cow as the “Mother Cow,” the establishment of a Sanatan Board to protect Sanatan culture and traditions, and the implementation of stringent laws to prevent cow trafficking and slaughter.

Chanting slogans like “Declare the cow as the National Mother Cow,” “Wake up, Central Government,” and “Pass a law to protect the cow,” protestors emphasized the urgency of their cause. Organizers pledged to continue the demonstration until their demands are met, urging Sanatanis across the country to join the movement to preserve cultural heritage and uphold the dignity of the holy cow.

Today’s protest witnessed the participation of prominent members of “Movement Kalki,” including advisory board member Pritam Sharma, legal advisor Advocate Someshwar Kohli, and board members Karnail Chand, Monika Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Anuradha, Pawan Narang, Subhash Dutta, Yashpal Pandit, and Sushma Devi. The movement, driven by unwavering commitment, continues to gather momentum as protestors remain steadfast in their mission for justice and cultural preservation.
