Reservation Rules

JAMMU, DEC 10: Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department (JKGAD) on Tuesday issued an order sanctioning the formation of a Sub-Committee to address grievances raised by aspirants regarding reservation rules for various posts. The decision was taken as per the Council of Ministers’ directive dated November 22, 2024.

As per the order, the Sub-Committee comprises three members: Sakina Masood, Javed Ahmed Rana, and Satish Sharma, all of whom are Ministers in Jammu and Kashmir Government. The committee has been tasked with examining the grievances in consultation with all stakeholders and submitting its report to the Council of Ministers.

The Social Welfare Department will service the committee to facilitate its operations and ensure timely submission of findings.
