Jammu, April 7:

In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, 14-year-old Reetish Banal has been crowned the All-India winner of the popular talent reality show, Kisme Kitna Hai Dum (KKHD).

The grand finale, held on March 26, 2026, at the Rayat Bahar University in Mohali, saw the young dancer emerge victorious after a grueling competition that spanned several months and multiple elimination rounds.

A Victory Against All Odds

Hailing from the small village of Panjtoot in the Chhamb constituency of Jammu, Reetish’s journey to the national stage is a testament to perseverance. The son of Roshan Lal and the late Poli Devi, Reetish has overcome significant personal loss to pursue his passion for dance.

His victory is particularly impressive given the scale of the competition:

  • Total Participants: Approximately 5,000 dancers from across India.

  • The Journey: Reetish successfully cleared four successive qualifying rounds before reaching the grand finale.

  • Category: Junior Dance (13–14 years age group).

The Grand Finale at Mohali

The atmosphere at Rayat Bahar University was electric as finalists from every corner of the country showcased their skills. Reetish’s performance in the final round captivated the judges and the audience alike, earning him the top spot and the title of KKHD National Winner.

Local leaders and residents of the Chhamb constituency have expressed immense joy over the news, noting that Reetish has put their small village of Panjtoot on the national map.
