Honour Jammu Police

JAMMU, MAR 01: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, Bhim Sen Tuti, has congratulated officers of Jammu Police Sub-Division West for their significant achievement in registering the first-ever e-FIR at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and a zero FIR at Janipur Police Station.

As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, DIG JKS Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma (IPS), visited Police Station Bakshi Nagar to honour officers whose dedicated efforts contributed to this milestone. The officers felicitated included:

  • SP North Jammu, Vivek Shekhar (JKPS)
  • SDPO City West, Dr. Satish Bhardwaj (JKPS)
  • SHO Janipur, Inspector Vikram Sharma
  • SHO Bakshi Nagar, Inspector Azad Ahmed Manhas
  • MHC Bakshi Nagar, HC Farooq Ahmad
  • CCTNS Operator, Ct. Rohit Padiar

The DIG’s office highlighted that their work has played a pivotal role in the implementation of new criminal laws while ensuring law and order and public safety. Their professionalism and commitment have strengthened law enforcement credibility in the region.

During his address, DIG JKS Range commended the officers for their dedication, perseverance, and people-centric approach. He assured continued support from the administration in maintaining peace and ensuring public security.
