RAJOURI, MAR 16: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma on Sunday conducted an extensive tour of Darhal, where he resolved the long-pending issue concerning the NABARD-funded SDH to Dara via Sagarawat road, paving the way for its execution.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the long-delayed road construction has now commenced, providing much-needed relief to the local residents. Additionally, the DDC inspected the progress of the PMGSY road from Darhal via Katemar, reviewing the ongoing work and directing officials to expedite the project for timely completion.
During the visit, Sharma engaged with public delegations, attentively listening to their grievances and addressing concerns on the spot, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to responsive governance. He also assessed several other ongoing developmental projects in the area, emphasizing the importance of quality execution and strict adherence to deadlines to maximize public benefit.
Further, the DDC stressed the proper utilization of assets created under the Swachh Bharat Mission, instructing officials to ensure their maintenance and functionality for long-term community welfare.
Accompanying the DDC on the visit were ACD Vijay Kr Verma, Ex En PMGSY Imtiaz Mir, Tehsildar Darhal, BDO Darhal, and other district and sectoral officers. They provided updates on various projects and assured timely resolution of developmental challenges.
