Jammu, July 10:
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) OBC Morcha, Jammu and Kashmir, held an organisational meeting to review its ongoing activities and discuss programmes assigned by the party’s Central leadership.
The meeting was chaired by BJP Jammu and Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha Member Sat Sharma and attended by senior party leaders, OBC Morcha office-bearers and district representatives.
During the meeting, leaders held detailed discussions on various organisational programmes and campaigns received from the BJP Central leadership. Strategies were discussed to ensure the effective implementation of these initiatives across Jammu and Kashmir, with emphasis on improving coordination among district and mandal units.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the Morcha’s ongoing activities and prepared a roadmap for upcoming organisational programmes. Special focus was laid on strengthening the party at the grassroots level, expanding public outreach and ensuring the active participation of party workers in future campaigns.
Office-bearers were asked to work in close coordination and make all organisational campaigns people-centric and result-oriented.
Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma said the BJP’s organisational strength has always been one of its biggest assets and that every party worker has an important role in taking the party’s ideology and the Central Government’s welfare initiatives to the people.
He called upon Morcha office-bearers to implement the programmes assigned by the Central leadership with dedication and sincerity so that the party’s message reaches every booth and household.
Sharma also urged party leaders and workers to remain in regular contact with the public, strengthen coordination at the booth and mandal levels, and work with a spirit of teamwork and responsibility.
Highlighting the BJP’s focus on good governance, transparency and inclusive development, Sharma asked the Morcha leadership to create greater awareness about the achievements and welfare initiatives of the Narendra Modi-led Central Government.
He expressed confidence that the BJP OBC Morcha would continue to play an important role in further strengthening the party’s organisational network across Jammu and Kashmir.
Among those present at the meeting were BJP State General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, State Vice President Rashpaul Verma, BJP OBC Morcha J&K President Braham Jyot Satti, former OBC Morcha President Murari Lal, BJP J&K State Working Committee Member Captain Romesh Lal, OBC Morcha State General Secretaries Sham Mehra and Sunny Sangotra, State Vice Presidents Reeta Verma, Suresh Salgotra and Vijay Saini, State Spokesperson Captain Hans Raj Verma, former OBC Morcha Nowshera District President Krishan Lal Verma, State Executive Member Madan Verma and State Secretary Ashok Salgotra, along with other senior office-bearers and district representatives.
