Jammu:
Avinash Choudhary, Chairman of the Border Welfare Organisation (BWO), Jammu and Kashmir, called on Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmed Rana and discussed a range of issues related to public welfare, sustainable development and the overall progress of the Union Territory.
During the courtesy meeting, Choudhary conveyed his best wishes to the Minister and appreciated his continued commitment to public service.
The discussions focused on several key areas, including strengthening water resource management, environmental conservation, forest protection, infrastructure development and the welfare of communities living in border areas.
Choudhary appreciated the Minister’s efforts towards inclusive governance and expressed confidence that the Departments of Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Tribal Affairs would continue to implement people-centric policies and initiatives under his leadership.
He said such initiatives would contribute towards the sustainable and inclusive development of Jammu and Kashmir while addressing the needs and concerns of people across different regions.
The meeting concluded on a positive and constructive note, with both sides emphasising the need for coordinated efforts to promote environmental protection, water conservation and balanced development across Jammu and Kashmir.
