JAMMU, FEB 25: A tragic road accident on Thanamandi road in Rajouri district claimed the life of one person and left another injured on Tuesday.
Officials said that the mishap occurred when a vehicle bearing registration number JK11G-6280 lost control near Thanamandi road. The vehicle veered off course, resulting in the instant death of one individual and injuries to another.
The deceased has been identified as Gulzar Hussain, a resident of Plangar, Thanamandi. The injured, identified as three-year-old Mohib, son of Sikandar, was rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.
