Jammu, March 30:
In a powerful display of patriotism and national unity, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha attended the closing ceremony of the “Vande Mataram Special Phase” at Abhinav Theatre today. The event marked a significant milestone in the 150-year commemoration of India’s national song, coinciding with the observance of Shaheedi Diwas.
Addressing a packed audience of students, artists, and dignitaries, the LG emphasized that Vande Mataram transcends mere lyrics, describing it as a “profound experience woven into our civilization’s fabric” that renews the nation’s commitment to its immortal martyrs.
J&K Leads the Nation in Patriotic Participation
The Lieutenant Governor lauded the people of Jammu Kashmir for their unprecedented involvement in the commemorative phases. Data revealed that the Union Territory has become a national benchmark for patriotic engagement:

-
Phase 2 (Jan 2026): 6 districts from J&K featured in the top 10, led by Poonch.
“The overwhelming participation of the people of Jammu Kashmir signals a transformative power for the future. True patriotism is the bedrock of peace and progress,” LG Sinha remarked.
