Reasi, Sept. 14: Two persons were killed and five others injured after a passenger Matador overturned on the Reasi–Bakkal road near Batalgala Tunnel in Reasi district on Sunday.
According to initial reports, the Matador, bearing registration number JK14B-2973, was travelling from Bakkal towards Reasi when the accident occurred.
The accident resulted in the deaths of two persons, while five others sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Reasi, where they are presently undergoing treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
