SRINAGAR, DEC 02: Two workers were killed, and another was injured after an under-construction pillar of a bridge in the Ring Road Project collapsed on Monday evening.
Reports said that three laborers came under debris from a slab after a landslide caused one of the bridge slabs of the Ring Road Project at Inchkoot, Ichgam in Budgam to skid off.
The trio were rescued and evacuated to a nearby hospital.
However, two laborers, identified as Santer Paswan (42) and Kishwar Paswan (45) both residents of Bihar, were declared dead on arrival. Another injured laborer, identified as Bachalal Paswan from Bihar, is being treated at the Srinagar hospital
