Jammu, March 23:
A 25-year-old man from Bihar, working as a tailor in Srinagar, was found dead on Monday in the Rajbagh area of the city. The incident has sparked a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding his sudden demise.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of the Araria district in Bihar. According to official sources, he had been living as a tenant in the Rajbagh locality of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, where he earned his livelihood as a tailor.
Details of the Discovery
Local officials informed that the young man was discovered unresponsive in his rented accommodation. He was immediately rushed to the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar in hopes of medical intervention.
However, medical professionals at the facility confirmed that the man was brought dead.
Official Action
The Srinagar Police have taken cognizance of the incident. While the primary medical report is awaited to determine the exact cause of death—whether due to natural causes or otherwise—further investigations have been initiated to rule out any foul play.
Authorities are currently in the process of completing legal formalities and reaching out to the family of the deceased in Bihar.
