Jammu, Jan 25:

The Super Model Club Events hosted a high-energy Patriotic Dance Competition on Sunday to celebrate the 77th Republic Day. The event, held just a day after LG Manoj Sinha’s poignant address regarding national security and Operation Sindoor, served as a vibrant platform for the youth of Jammu to express their devotion to the nation through art and culture.

The Grand Opening

The program commenced with a traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing a prayer for peace and national prosperity. Japneet Kaur served as the anchor for the evening, keeping the audience engaged with her energetic and confident narration.

Dignitaries and Guests of Honor

The event saw a gathering of prominent local leaders and entrepreneurs who came together to support the young talent.

  • Chief Guest: Mr. Ajay Verma (Proprietor, Nice Gems Group; President, Swarnkar Sangh Jammu).

  • Special Guests: Mrs. Vanita Thakur (Director, NIIFD), Mrs. Gagandeep (Chairperson, Ankuran School of Leadership), Mrs. Anu Bali (Ex-Councillor & Convener, Urban Bodies District Jammu) and Ms. Barbie Dutta (Manager, Super Model Club Events).

Competition Highlights: “Unity in Motion”

The core of the celebration was the dance competition, where participants translated complex themes of freedom, unity, and sacrifice into powerful stage performances.

The high standard of the talent made the judging process a formidable task for Mr. Shashi Gupta, who evaluated the contestants on their expressions, choreography, and technical skill. After careful evaluation, Japnoor Kaur was declared the First Prize winner, impressing both the judges and the audience with her powerful and expressive performance. All participants were applauded for their confidence, discipline, and dedication.

The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony. In his address, Chief Guest Mr. Ajay Verma inspired the participants by highlighting the importance of cultural events in fostering national identity.

A formal Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Gagandeep Bedi on behalf of Mr. Bhanu Partap Singh, Managing Director of Super Model Club Events, who expressed gratitude to the judges and the parents for nurturing the next generation of Indian talent.

“This celebration wasn’t just a competition; it was a grand success in instilling a deep sense of national pride and appreciation for the talent our city holds.” — Organizing Committee Statement.
