JAMMU, AUGUST 27: DIG JKS Range Shiv Kumar (IPS) conducted a late-night surprise inspection in Kathua, Samba, and Jammu districts to ensure security ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The DIG visited key locations like Hiranagar Londi Morh and met local police and BPP officials, including SHO Inspector Arun Koul and BPP personnel of BOP Post Chak Dulma. The Official visited the BPP Rajpura.

SHO Samba Inspector Sikandar Singh briefed him about Border police working in the area and discussed the old routes and incidents. Later, DIG JKS Range also reviewed security at the Narsingh Temple, where a heavy rush of devotees was observed.
SSP Vinay Kumar accompanied him, providing a comprehensive overview of security measures and election preparedness. More checks are expected as the elections approach.
