Jammu, June 3:

KC International School successfully concluded the three-day KC International Youth Conclave (KCIYC) 2026, held from June 1st to June 3rd, with remarkable enthusiasm, intellectual vigour, and diplomatic spirit. Bringing together over 372 student delegates from leading schools across the region, the conclave served as a dynamic platform for leadership, global awareness, and youth empowerment.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, along with Guests of Honour Mr. Rajesh Baru, JKRS, Course Director, Revenue Training Institute, Jammu, and Mr. Deepak Khajuria, Senior Journalist. The occasion was further enriched by the presence of President, KC International School, Mr Chaitanya Chowdhary, and Principal Ms. Anupama Sinha.The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Vice Principal Ms. Roma Gupta, who warmly greeted the distinguished guests, educators, delegates.

The closing ceremony of three days conclave celebrated excellence as outstanding delegates were recognised for their achievements in diplomacy and leadership. Members of the Secretariat, Executive Board, and Organising Committee were also felicitated for their dedication and invaluable contributions to the successful conduct of the conclave.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Vidhu Shekhar, IAS, underscored the significance of meaningful dialogue, cooperation, and responsible leadership in an increasingly interconnected world. He encouraged students to emerge as compassionate, informed, and proactive global citizens.

A major highlight of the evening was the announcement of the prestigious School Delegation Awards. Demonstrating exemplary hospitality, host school KC International School voluntarily withdrew itself from the competition. KC Public School secured the Best School Delegation Award, while GD Goenka Public School was declared First Runner-Up and Jodhamal Public School emerged as Second Runner-Up.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal, Ms. Anupama Sinha, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished dignitaries, participating schools, educators, delegates, parents, and the organising team for their invaluable support in making KCIYC 2026 a resounding success.

As the curtains fell on KCIYC 2026, delegates departed with enriched perspectives, enhanced leadership skills, and a renewed commitment to fostering a more informed, inclusive, and interconnected world.
