Jammu, June 5:
Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS has seized a total of 05 vehicles i.e (03 Dumpers & 02 Tractor Trolleys) in the jurisdictional areas of P/S Kathua & Billawar which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material (Without A Form).
In the first instance, the police team led by IC PP Nagri under the guidance of Addl. SP Kathua, DySP Hqrs Kathua & SHO PS Kathua during patrolling duty seized 03 vehicles i.e 03 Dumpers loaded with construction material(Excess Quantity)at Nagri area without any valid permission.
While in the second instance, Police team led by SHO PS Billawar under the close supervision of SDPO Billawar during patrolling duty seized 02 Tractor Trolleys bearing Reg. No.JK08M-8348 & JK08M-7123 indulged in illegal mining (loaded with Sand) without any legal permission.
Thereafter all the above-mentioned 05 vehicles( 03 Dumpers & 02 Tractor Trolley) indulged in illegal mining have been seized by @Kathua Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
