In a major crackdown on the “terror ecosystem” within the administration, the Jammu and Kashmir UT Government has terminated the services of five employees for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities.
The orders were passed by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, invoking constitutional powers that allow for the dismissal of employees whose activities pose a threat to the sovereignty and security of the state.
The Dismissed Employees
According to sources, the terminated staff members belong to various departments, ranging from education to healthcare. The individuals identified are:

Intelligence Findings
The action followed rigorous investigations by security and intelligence agencies. Detailed dossiers revealed that these individuals were covertly working for proscribed terror outfits, including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.
The investigation alleged that while these employees were drawing salaries from the government exchequer, they were simultaneously:

Aiding extremist activities across the Union Territory.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Administrative officials have stated that this move sends a “zero-tolerance signal” to any individual misusing a position of public trust to aid militancy. The government emphasized that surveillance remains high and no individual, regardless of their rank or department, will be spared if found undermining the integrity of the nation.
This is part of a broader ongoing campaign by the J&K administration to identify and remove “white-collar” terror sympathizers from the bureaucratic and governmental framework.
