In a spectacular celebration of rhythm, melody, and youthful energy, the Jamm & Rock Music and Dance Institute successfully organized its highly anticipated “Young Talent Music Competition” yesterday, June 1, 2026. Held at the prestigious Writers Club, Abhinav Theatre in Jammu, the high-profile cultural event served as a dynamic platform for the region’s emerging and young musical virtuosos to showcase their finely honed skills.
The grand event commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a symbolic initiation performed by a distinguished panel of guests to invoke auspicious beginnings. Welcoming the gathering, Mrs. Shweta Goswami, Director of the Jamm & Rock Music and Dance Institute, extended a warm reception to the visiting dignitaries, veteran artists, energetic participants, and enthusiastic audience members who filled the auditorium.

Reflecting the high profile of the event, Sh. Arvind Gupta, Honorable MLA Jammu West, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Sh. Arvind Gupta praised all the participants for their technical prowess and passion, while highly lauding the management and members of the organizing institute for creating vital platforms that channel the energy of the youth into creative, constructive pathways.
The event was further elevated by a stellar cohort of Guests of Honour and prominent regional administrative figures, including Anil Angral Rehari; Kushant Prajapati, President of the Bakshi Nagar Mandal; and the President of the Talab Tillo Mandal.
