The celebration featured a melodious Welcome Song followed by a vibrant cultural program presented by the students. A powerful dance presentation titled ‘Tandav’ captivated the audience, while a thought-provoking skit on ‘Save Trees’ reflected the students’ awareness and concern for environmental sustainability.

The celebration aimed not only to acknowledge the importance of a free press but also to honour the real heroes of journalism—those who bridge the gap between people and information, act as the voice of truth, and contribute towards building an aware and responsible nation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Principal remarked,
“Today’s event is a tribute to the courage of journalists worldwide and a reminder to our students that freedom of expression comes with responsibility. At HGS, we strive to nurture thinkers who question, analyse, and speak with integrity.”
