Jammu, April 13:
To commemorate the Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the BJP OBC Morcha organized a comprehensive cleanliness drive at Radha Krishna Mandir, Dinga Amb, as part of the nationwide ‘Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo’ campaign.
The initiative, aimed at promoting grassroots hygiene and community service, saw enthusiastic participation from party volunteers and local leaders who turned out in large numbers to transform the temple premises and surrounding areas.
Grassroots Mobilization: ‘Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo’
The drive was carried out under the direct guidance of Braham Jyot Satti, President of BJP OBC Morcha J&K. Volunteers were seen armed with brooms and mops, clearing the temple grounds and removing unwanted vegetation and bushes to ensure a pristine environment for devotees.

In a message delivered during the event, Braham Jyot Satti emphasized that the spirit of the BJP is rooted in Sewa (service).
“Cleanliness is not just a responsibility but a collective duty of every citizen. Through the ‘Gaon Chalo, Basti Chalo’ campaign, we are striving to connect with people at the grassroots. These initiatives reflect the true commitment of BJP workers toward public welfare on our Foundation Day,” Satti remarked.
