Upon a thorough inspection of the vehicle, security forces recovered 18 kilograms of Poppy Straw concealed within the car’s trunk (dicky).
The driver, identified as Shokat Ali, son of Bashir Ahmed and a resident of Kanger, Tehsil Bhalwal, District Jammu, was immediately apprehended.

Dismantling the Network
The ANTF has confirmed that investigations are now focused on “forward and backward linkages.” This involves tracing the original suppliers in the Valley and identifying the intended local distributors to completely dismantle the smuggling cell.
