KISHTWAR, MAR 24: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan on Sunday chaired a review meeting to assess the functioning and achievements of the Rural Engineering Wing (REW) under the Rural Development Department (RDD) in Kishtwar.
Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Phulail Singh provided a detailed presentation on the department’s performance and the progress achieved during the current financial year. The review focused on the status of ongoing projects, ensuring their timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
The DC reviewed project-wise progress and directed Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and Junior Engineers (JEs) to ensure the completion of all works before the end of the financial year. He emphasized that timely execution and adherence to quality standards are crucial for the success of development projects.
Stressing accountability, the DC made it clear that the responsibility for both project completion and quality assurance lies with the concerned AEEs and JEs. He instructed them to closely monitor ongoing projects and ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe.
The meeting was attended by ACD Kishtwar Phulail Singh, Executive Engineer REW RDD Kishtwar, AEEs, JEs, Technical Assistants (TAs), and other concerned officials.
