Tree-Cutting Works

SRINAGAR, MAR 15: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Friday announced scheduled power shutdowns for maintenance and clearance work on select transmission lines in the coming days.

As per the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, the 33 KV Bemina-Barbarshah TRC Tap line will undergo maintenance on March 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, the shutdown will not impact any receiving stations or areas, as the line serves as a backup to the 33 KV Cheshmashahi-TRC Nedous Line.

Additionally, to facilitate the cutting of Poplar trees, the 33 KV Pampore Khanda Tap line will remain shut on March 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This will affect power supply to the 33/11 KV Receiving Station at Khanda, impacting areas including Khanda, Wagoora, Gowherpora, Wagoora, Wadipora, Kultreh, and adjoining localities.

Residents of the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled shutdown periods.
