JAMMU, MAR 06: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has framed 26 unfair means cases against students found indulging in malpractice during a surprise inspection drive on Thursday. The action was taken by 20 vigilance squads formed to ensure the integrity of ongoing examinations.
Officials said that the inspections were conducted under the supervision of JKBOSE Secretary G.H. Sheikh, covering more than 180 examination centers in a day-long drive. Superintendents of the centers where irregularities were detected have been directed to exercise greater caution to prevent such incidents in the future.
JKBOSE emphasized that examinations are being conducted in a smooth and transparent manner, with invigilators maintaining strict vigilance. The Board reiterated its commitment to upholding the sanctity of the examination process, ensuring fairness, and safeguarding the trust of students and parents in the system.
