JAMMU, MAR 05: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in various areas of Jammu due to maintenance work.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the power supply to Smailpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on March 6 from 9 AM to 1 PM. Similarly, electricity will remain suspended in Jarai, Parliwand, PHE installations, Main Bazar, Ward Nos. 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Taraf Sanji, Bhagthali, Court, Jail, Basantpur, Lakhanpur Dhanna, Thein, Pathi, Dairy Farm, and nearby areas on March 6 from 9 AM to 2 PM.
Additionally, Logate (Industrial Area), Kumri Kathera, MES Janglote, IIDC, Govindsor, Changran, Nagri, Palli, Nicer Paper Mill, and surrounding areas will experience a power outage on March 7 from 9 AM to 3 PM. The power supply to Devik and Jakheni will remain affected on March 9 from 8 AM to 1 PM.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua, has informed that Sumb and its adjoining areas will face power cuts on March 6 and 7 from 8 AM to 1 PM.
