JAMMU, MAR 03: Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, has nominated a panel of Chairmen for the ongoing Budget Session 2025. The announcement was made during the Assembly proceedings today.
The Speaker named Mubarak Gul, MLA from Eidgah; Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, MLA from Kulgam; and Surjeet Singh Slathia, MLA from Samba, to the panel. Their role will be to assist in presiding over the house during the session as needed.
Earlier in the session, the Speaker tabled the Lieutenant Governor’s address before the house, setting the stage for discussions on key policy matters and budgetary allocations.
