Tangmarg, March 1: Heavy snowfall triggered snow-slides and avalanches above Phase 1 in Gulmarg on Saturday, police said. However, officials confirmed that no loss of life or property has been reported, and no individuals are missing.
SDPO Tangmarg assured that all individuals in the area are safe and accounted for. He urged media outlets to report responsibly and avoid causing unnecessary panic regarding the situation.
Meanwhile, tourists and locals have been advised to exercise caution while venturing into avalanche-prone areas, as fresh snowfall has heightened the risk of snow-slides. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
