JAMMU, FEB 25: A tragic road accident in the Jajjar Kottli area of Jammu district claimed the life of an MBBS student while his brother sustained injuries on Tuesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Muneshwar Singh, son of Harbinder Singh, a resident of Dessa, Doda. The fatal incident occurred when the bike the brothers were riding collided with a truck at Jajjar Kottli.
Muneshwar Singh, who was pursuing his MBBS, succumbed to his injuries on the spot. His brother, who was accompanying him, was critically injured and has been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for treatment.
The local police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the collision.
