JAMMU, FEB 20: A Selection Grade Constable (SgCt) of Jammu and Kashmir Police lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Gadigarh area of Jammu on Thursday morning.
The deceased, identified as Manpreet Singh (aged between 30-32), a resident of Basti Govindpura, Simbal Morh, was riding his motorbike when an e-bus coming from Ranbir Singh Pura collided with him at Gadigarh.
“He received fatal injuries and died on the spot,” police said.
The authorities have seized the bus and taken the driver into custody. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
