SAMBA, FEB 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Samba, Rajesh Sharma on Thursday chaired a review meeting at the DC Complex to assess the progress of works and projects undertaken under the District Capex Budget 2024-25 across key sectors, including PWD (R&B), Health, School Education, Rural Development Department, and Jal Shakti.

As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the DDC conducted a detailed review of both the physical and financial progress of ongoing projects, directing concerned officers to ensure timely completion and full utilization of the allocated funds under the Capex Budget.

The meeting also focused on identifying bottlenecks and hindrances faced by executing agencies. DDC Sharma urged the officials to synergize with stakeholders for the immediate resolution of issues to prevent delays in project execution.

Emphasizing the need for quality work and tangible results, Rajesh Sharma instructed all departments to strictly adhere to project timelines and maintain the standards set for each sector.

The review meeting was attended by key officials, including Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Champa Devi, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kasturi Lal, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) and Jal Shakti Department, as well as Block Development Officers (BDOs) and engineering staff from the RDD&PR of District Samba.
