JAMMU, DEC 03: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Tuesday apprehended an absconder who was evading his arrest for the last five (05) years in Jammu district.
As per the statement issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the absconder was wanted in a case FIR No 108/2016 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at PS Satwari.
A Police team of PS Satwari led by SHO PS Satwari under the supervision of SDPO SDPO City South and SP City South succeeded in apprehending the absconder namely Ramesh Kumar son of Bachan Lal resident of Bala Chak RS Pura who was absconding and evading his arrest since 2019 after the commission of the crime.
Accordingly, the said absconder will be produced in the court of law and the arrest warrant u/s 299 BNSS issued against him will be executed.
