UDHAMPUR, NOV 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Thursday detained a hardcore terror associate under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per the police release issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the accused, Abdul Satar, son of the late Jamal Din and a resident of Ponara Soni, has been lodged in jail under PSA.
Release said that Satar has been involved in multiple terror-related activities and has served as an active guide and facilitator for terrorist organizations. His actions have led to the registration of several FIRs at Police Station Basantgarh.
Given his continued involvement in aiding terror networks and the threat he posed to public safety, authorities issued his detention under the stringent PSA to prevent further disruptions.
