KATHUA, NOV 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Thursday seized two (02) Poclain Excavators indulged in illegal mining at Bhini River area of PS Billawar in Kathua district.
As per the police release issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, on 27.11.2024, a Police team of Police Station (PS) Billawar under the guidance of SDPO Billawar and SHO PS Billawar during patrolling/checking in its jurisdictional area seized two Poclain Exacavators indulged in illegal mining(extraction of minerals) without any legal permission.
Meanwhile said Poclain Excavators indulged in illegal mining were seized & immediately handed over to the officials of the Geological and Mining department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
