DODA, NOV 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Tuesday detained a habitual bovine smuggler offender under Public Safety Act (PSA) in district Doda.

As per the police handout issued to The Newsroom 24 – Awaz, the person who have booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) namely Adil Fareed, a resident of Runta village in Bhaderwah, has been lodged in jail following a detention order issued by the District Magistrate, Doda.

The accused was involved in multiple cases of bovine smuggling, with several complaints registered against him at Police Station Bhaderwah. Despite repeated warnings, Adil failed to mend his ways and continued engaging in activities that posed a threat to communal harmony in the region.

According to the police, his anti-national and anti-social activities were deemed a serious threat to internal security, public peace, and tranquility in the district. Acting on the dossier provided by SSP Doda, authorities took swift action to neutralize the risk posed by his criminal conduct.
