School Timings

SRINAGAR, OCT 28: In response to the seasonal decline in temperature, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced revised school timings across the Kashmir Division, effective from November 1, 2024. This change aligns with past practices aimed at accommodating the colder weather conditions.

According to the official notification, schools within the Srinagar Municipal Limits will now operate from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. For schools located outside the municipal limits of Srinagar and in other areas across the Kashmir Province, the new timings will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has requested that all necessary instructions be issued to ensure compliance with the adjusted schedule. The decision is intended to ease commuting challenges for students and staff during the colder months, fostering a more comfortable learning environment.
