JAMMU, SPET 17: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu celebrated Hindi Pakhwada with enthusiasm, emphasizing the role of Hindi in communication and administration. The event was marked by speeches from distinguished guests, cultural performances, and a special plantation drive as part of the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada campaign.
Dr. Sandhu Kapoor graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Shri Manveer Singh served as the Guest of Honor. The occasion was presided over by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, who highlighted the importance of Hindi as a language that not only links people but also serves as a tool for administration and governance.
In addition to the cultural programs, a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative was organized at IIM Jammu’s Jagti Campus. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, aligning with the institute’s commitment to environmental sustainability and cleanliness. The initiative was a part of the larger Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, reflecting the institute’s dedication to promoting a cleaner and greener future.
