SRINAGAR, SEPT 21: An 18-year-old boy was killed in a tragic road accident in the Cement Kadal area of Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
According to authorities, the victim, identified as Talib Bashir, son of Bashir Ahmad Gadda and a resident of Rampura Chattabal, was riding his bike when he collided with a load carrier. The accident occurred at Cement Kadal, causing severe injuries to the teenager.
Talib was rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival, the official added.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started an investigation into the matter.
