JAMMU, OCT 26: The Chief Engineer (Distribution) of the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced a planned power shutdown affecting various areas in Jammu on October 27.
As per the release, in the first phase, power supply to Mira Mandrian, Chowki Choura, Balli Gulaba, Tanda, and surrounding regions will be interrupted from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Additionally, power supply to Smailpur, Rahya, Gurah, Utterbehni, Mandal, Central University, Dinga Amb, Katli, Ramkot, Khoon, Nagrota Gujroo, Kalyal, Garh, Ujh, and several industrial units (Varun Beverages, Axiom, Devyani Foods, Flexicom, Innova Captab) along with Receiving Stations Ghatti-I, III, IV, V, and VI, and Ward Nos. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 in Basantpur, RTIC Basantpur, Lakhanpur, Jarai, Dhanna, Thein, Jail Court, IIDC Govindsor, Nicer Paper, Tehnoplast-II, Bari Brahmana, EPIP Kartholi, and the industrial area will experience a power outage from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Furthermore, residents and businesses in Budhi, Nanan, Barnoti, Channi Arorian, Marheen, Paharpur, Rajbagh, Chandwan, Hariachack, and nearby areas should prepare for a power shutdown from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Power supply to Palli, Barwal, and PHE Industry will also be affected during these scheduled maintenance hours. The JPDCL regrets the inconvenience caused and advises residents and industries in these areas to make necessary arrangements accordingly.
