JAMMU, OCT 29: In alignment with the Central Vigilance Commission’s guidelines for Vigilance Awareness Week, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Circle Office Jammu on Tuesday organized a Blood Donation and Health Check-Up Camp at its Gandhi Nagar branch.
The week-long observance, running from October 28 to November 3, 2024, carries the theme “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity.”
As per the statement issued here, the event was inaugurated by Anil Sharma, Deputy General Manager and Circle Head of Jammu Circle, who highlighted the importance of vigilance in day-to-day operations. “Each individual must remain vigilant in their role to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the system,” Sharma stated, emphasizing the role of Vigilance Awareness Week in fostering a culture of integrity within organizations.
The camp was attended by senior PNB officials, including Dharmesh Dwivedi, Assistant General Manager of Circle Office Jammu, and Vinay Kumar Sharma, Chief Manager of the Gandhi Nagar branch, along with other branch and Circle Office staff members.
Medical professionals from the Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, conducted the health check-ups, offering services like blood pressure monitoring and various diagnostic tests. Numerous customers and staff members took advantage of the health check-up services, promoting awareness of personal well-being.
The blood donation initiative saw an enthusiastic response, resulting in over 25 units of blood collected by the Blood Bank Unit of Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar. The initiative reflects PNB’s commitment to community welfare, aligning with its objectives for Vigilance Awareness Week to promote a vigilant and integrity-driven culture among both employees and the public.
