JAMMU, OCT 27: In a heartfelt tribute to the brave police personnel who laid down their lives in service to the nation, the Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP) organized an inspiring bike rally through Jammu City on Sunday.

As per the release issued here, the event saw over 100 participants, including members of the Police, traffic personnel, professional bikers from Royal Enfield Jammu, and representatives from local NGOs, come together to honor the sacrifices made by these martyrs.

The rally commenced with a flag-off ceremony at 10:00 a.m. from the District Police Lines (DPL) in Jammu, with participants gathering by 9:30 a.m. to prepare. The designated route led bikers from DPL Jammu through key locations, including Bikram Chowk, the Flyover, MLA Hostel, Vigilance Rotary, Maheshpura Chowk, and Satwari Chowk, before returning to DPL via Gandhi Nagar.

The event was officially inaugurated by ADGP Jammu Zone Shri Anand Jain-IPS, accompanied by DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS and SSP Jammu Joginder Singh-JKPS, who together waved off the bikers from the starting point at DPL.

Throughout the rally, the riders showcased pride and patriotism as they traversed through Jammu’s prominent locations, drawing the attention of onlookers and reinforcing a sense of respect and appreciation for the martyrs. The initiative was more than a tribute ride; it aimed to raise awareness of patriotism and the value of national service.

Officials highlighted that the event was organized to bring together both police and civilians in a display of unity and respect for the fallen heroes, encouraging a stronger police-public relationship. The overwhelming support from the Jammu Police, biking groups, and local NGOs reflected the community’s deep respect for the sacrifices made by police martyrs.
