JAMMU, NOV 11: Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police (DGP), held an introductory meeting with officers of the Jammu district at DPL Jammu on Monday. The meeting aimed to establish key priorities, discuss security strategies, and foster improved coordination across various law enforcement agencies.

As per the release The Newsroom 24 – Awaz received, the DGP addressed the current security landscape, stressing the need for proactive measures and quick responses to emerging challenges.

He outlined strategic priorities for the district, emphasizing the importance of maintaining law and order, safeguarding public interests, and bolstering community policing efforts.

During the meeting, officers were encouraged to share specific insights and challenges faced within their jurisdictions, creating a platform for open dialogue and mutual cooperation.

Highlighting the significance of public trust and transparency in policing, Prabhat called on officers to focus on community-based approaches in their work.

He also reiterated his commitment to providing necessary resources and support to departments under Jammu district’s jurisdiction, aiming to build a cohesive, responsive, and efficient police force.

In his address, the DGP commended the efforts of the Jammu Zone police in ensuring peace and security and urged them to continue their dedicated service to the people of Jammu.

The meeting concluded with an outline of actionable steps and a renewed commitment to the safety and well-being of the region’s residents.

Present at the meeting were Anand Jain, ADGP Jammu Zone; Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG JKS Range; Joginder Singh, SSP Jammu; along with all Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), Station House Officers (SHOs), and In-Charge Police Posts (ICPPs) of Jammu district.
