JAMMU, JULY 27: Cyber Cell of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) on Saturday solved an online fraud case and recovered amount of four lakhs and seventeen thousand rupees in Jammu district.
Cyber cell DPO Jammu, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online frauds and cyber crime who has been relentlessly working day in and day out for ensuring the safety and security of masses in general has once again successfully recovered hard earned money of one of the complainant.
As per the Police, a complainant approached Cyber Cell Jammu with a complaint of being fraudulently cheated by a fraudster who approached him telephonically on WhatsApp and persuaded him to invest amount from his hard earned sources in trading and assured him of allied benefits and returning the principal amount in a stipulated time, but to his astonishment the person disguised as a trader didn’t respond to the lender for refund of the invested amount.

The cyber cell DPO Jammu took no time to start the investigations and acted swiftly while exhibiting the ultimate professional excellence through its dedicated skilled human resource which was put to task and in no time the lost amount of Rs 4,17,000/-was recovered from the erring fraudster.
District Police Jammu, equipped with advanced technology and expert human resource remains at the forefront in the fight against cybercriminals.
