According to officials, the incident occurred when the man, identified as Mohammad Haneef, son of Akbar Din from Shahpur, Poonch, accidentally stepped on a landmine while cutting wood in a field. The blast caused severe injury to his right foot.
Haneef was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
