JAMMU, OCT 26: Jammu Zone’s Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Anand Jain (IPS), ton Saturday commended the successful completion of a month-long joint training exercise between the Army’s 1 Para Special Forces (SF) and 13 personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) at the Sunjuwan military base.

As per the Police release, the joint training, aimed at strengthening the operational capabilities of both forces, underscored the importance of synergy in handling security challenges.

During the closing ceremony, ADGP Anand Jain engaged with the commandos, recognizing their dedication and professionalism throughout the rigorous training sessions. He highlighted the crucial role of such joint exercises in developing advanced tactical and operational skills needed to address evolving security threats and maintain law and order.

Expressing confidence in the impact of the training, ADGP Jain noted that the enhanced collaboration and capability of both forces would greatly contribute to the security and stability of the region. He reiterated the commitment of J&K Police to maintain a close partnership with the Army and other security agencies to safeguard peace in the Union Territory.
