JAMMU, SEPT 09: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 10 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No.JK02CT/1855 at Naka Suketar on Monday.
Moreover one more bovine smuggling bid has been foiled by PP Manwal,rescued 07 bovines and one vehicle seized bearing Registration No.JK14D/2672 at Naka Manwal.The driver of both the vehicles are fled away from the spot after leaving behind the vehicles on the road.17 bovines were rescued and two vehicles seized.
In this regard, two cases: FIR No.204/2024 and 205/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in PS Jhajjar Kotli.Further investigation of both the cases are in progress.
General public have appreciated the regular & strict actions of police against Bovine Smugglers.
