Arrested After Two-Year

SAMBA, OCT 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) apprehended an individual who had been evading arrest since 2022 on Thursday in Samba district.

As per the police release, the accused, Sumbinder Singh, son of Rashpal Singh, hailing from Bidhipur Jattan, Chander Chak, R.S. Pura district, Jammu, was wanted in connection with an FIR registered at Police Station Samba.

Singh was involved in a case registered under FIR No. 190/2022 under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act. Despite efforts to capture him, the accused had managed to evade arrest for two years after committing the crime.

The police team from PS Samba finally succeeded in apprehending Singh. Officials confirmed that he will be produced before the court, and an arrest warrant issued against him under section 512 of the CrPC will be executed.
